‘Bacchus Marsh Local History articles’. Articles by William Williams.
The articles by William Williams have been compiled in an online Trove list called
‘Bacchus Marsh Local History articles’.
These consist of 104 articles published in the Bacchus Marsh Express newspaper between early 1914 and mid-1917, written by William Williams (former head master of the Bacchus Marsh State School). These articles provide a wealth of detail about the events and people of Bacchus Marsh during its early years. They have previously been collated and published in the book, A History of Bacchus Marsh and its pioneers, 1836-1936, by William Williams, published in 1936. However, this book is now quite difficult to obtain. For this reason we have gathered the same articles together in this online resource.
